BCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Coordinator

Job Description:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing several deliverables of the project by coordinating, monitoring, and making sure all deadlines are met. This role will offer logistical support and programmatic accountability to support academic experts in the delivery and execution of the Indiana Literacy and Indiana STEM Cadres.
Project staff work closely with the Indiana Department of Education, numerous K12 schools, and experts across the field of education.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's Degree preferred. Ideal degree in business, management, or education.
Minimum 2 years experience in grants and contract management including budget management.
Experience working with state agencies strongly preferred.
Project management certification is desirable, but not required.
Project management experience in a complex environment, managing multiple contractors
Understanding of state agencies processes
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail
An ability to speak to varied stakeholders, ensuring clarity on project objectives
Strong technology skills, including Microsoft office and Google workspace.
Flexible and able to manage multiple projects at any given time
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor current projects and coordinate team members and subcontractors involved to keep workflow on track
Work to improve the project process
Organize and plan meetings with senior project manage
Arrange and manage team goals, project schedules, and new information; keep all material up to dat
Communicate timeline changes and new information to team; track project changes and adjust schedules as neede
Record minutes and take detailed notes during meetings
Keep track of all project-related paperwork; ensure all needed materials are current and properly filed and store
Strategize with project management team when needed
Track and analyze project risks and recommend improvements
Perform other tasks as specified by Project Management Team
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and procedures.
Follow the guidance and direction of supervisor(s)
Demonstrate respectful, ethical, responsible behavior.
