BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Sr. Full Stack Engineer for a Hybrid opportunity in Wilmington, DE!

Position Title: Sr. Full Stack Developer
Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 6 months of contract to Hire
Hybrid Model: 3 days onsite and 2 days Remote
Type: W2 (No C2C and no sponsorship available)

Job Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, develop, code, unit test and debug Java/J2EE, Spring Based applications,


• SOA based business services using J2EE/REST/SOAP services that satisfy business requirements for large, complex projects.


• Develop high quality code using Java, J2EE, Spring, and Web services using REST/SOAP.


• Design highly scalable and resilient applications using the Cloud architecture..


• Utilize Web Services and Java technologies to build interface/API and significantly enhance integration capability between front-end and back-end systems.


• Minimum of 3 years' experience/knowledge designing and building web environments on AWS, which includes working with services like EKS, ECS, RDS, Lambda, S3 etc.


• Experience/Knowledge of writing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform


• Experience using DevOps tools in a cloud environment, such as Artifactory, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Maven, and Sonar Qube


• Experience/Knowledge using monitoring solutions like CloudWatch / Datadog


• Experience with one or more automation tools like Terraform, Puppet, Ansible


• Ability to leverage Splunk and Dynatrace to identify and troubleshoot issues.

Skills Must Have

• Hands on with Java, spring boot, and microservices - Mostly backend


• Develop high quality code using Java, J2EE, Spring, and Web services using REST/SOAP.


• Minimum of 3 years' experience/knowledge designing and building web environments on AWS, which includes working with services like EKS, ECS, RDS, Lambda, S3 etc


• AWS


• Terraform

Nice have:

• AWS certifications


• UI experience (react or angular)
