Job Description Summary
As Medical Management Solutions Dispensing Committed Contract & Compliance Consultant, you will interact and proactively communicate with multiple MMS Dispensing teams to ensure the contract process for customer orders has been received. The contract process includes, but is not limited to, Master Agreements, Customer Orders, Purchase Orders, and Implementation Schedules. While a remote position to start, this position may, in the future, be required to work on-site. The successful candidate will be expected to work in the San Diego office 3 days per week.Job Description

Medical Management Solutions is committed to the journey toward zero errors and zero waste. With our end-to-end infusion safety system, hospitals can standardize IV therapy and integrate the BD Alaris System with Electronic Health Records to prepopulate infusion pumps with orders and accurately document status. The BD HealthSight Viewer can then monitor urgent medication needs across nursing and pharmacy.
Key responsibilities will include:
Working knowledge of both the pre- and post-signature capital contracting processes including, but not limited to, acceptance and performance, product installation, billing, and revenue management, leasing and purchasing, and asset management and how each are related
Auditing all components submitted as a complete contractual package
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, policies and procedures, and purchase acquisition/marketing programs
Working knowledge of US Antitrust laws, HIPAA laws, Sarbanes Oxley rules, Internal Audit procedures, and regulatory controls
Understanding of capital equipment revenue recognition guidelines and accounting principles
Understanding of contract review, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance, including, but not limited to, evaluating, and enforcing all necessary and required pre-execution requirements, with the ability to escalate when necessary
About you: To be successful in this role, you require:
Minimum bachelor’s degree is required (relevant experience may be considered as a substitute for education requirement)
Minimum 3 years relevant experience; contract administration and operations, procurement, purchasing, sales
Proficiency in Microsoft applications and Customer Relationship Management software (e.g., MS Teams, Excel, SharePoint, Salesforce, and SAP)
Strong organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the capability to interact with all business levels including outstanding customer service practices
Ability to manage complex tasks, and make independent recommendations
A general understanding of a commercial contracting process, including contract strategy development, pricing, billing, invoicing, product technology, quoting, and policy development
Strong analytical, organizational, and data entry skills
Ability to be team focused and highly collaborative
