The Production Operator I is responsible for performing, on a daily basis:
All direct and indirect activities assigned to them in the packaging area, with the ability to follow both written and verbal work instructions.
The tasks required of this position include but are not limited to mixing formulations by performing accurate measurement of chemicals into water solutions, packing out medical device kits, labeling packed kits, cleaning of lab ware and equipment, operating simple machinery, inspection of product for acceptance or rejection based on pass/fail criteria, moving product on carts and pallets.
Assists in daily functions of the department regarding all filling, labeling, and packaging operations.
This requires active involvement and cooperation with coworkers in the department, QA department input, and following verbal and written instructions from the department supervisor.
Review and sign documents and forms related to packaging operations.
Interacts with personnel from other departments as needed to assist in successful completion of documentation to complete shop orders.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or accredited GED.
Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Some experience with clean room gowning preferred.
