Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for receiving, processing and verifying vendor invoices for payment according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
Job Duties:
- Reviews vendor invoices for coding, proper approval and entry into financial system
- Reviews and reconciles invoice discrepancies
- Obtains necessary W9 or W8 forms for all new vendors
- Assists in the compilation of all necessary information for annual 1099 process
- Handles inquiries from vendors and internal staff regarding invoice processing and payment status
- Performs invoice entry into ERP system, pushing invoices through the automated approval workflow
- Assists Internal Audit in requests for information
- Assists with end of month Accounts Payable closure
- Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
- High School diploma or GED, required
- Associates or Bachelor's degree, preferred; focus in Accounting or Finance, preferred
Experience:
- Two (2) or more years related accounts payable or prior administrative experience, required
- Prior experience with multi-location companies, preferred
- Prior experience with international vendors, preferred
License/Certifications:
- N/A
Software:
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, required
- Experience working with PeopleSoft Financials, preferred
Language:
- N/A

- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of working and communicating effectively with professionals at all levels
- Able to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects / tasks with an attention to detail
- Able to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
- Proficient in utilization of data entry skills and Microsoft Excel
- Superior customer service skills
