Job Description:
We are seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux servers and infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. This individual will work closely with other IT team members to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions that meet the needs of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Linux servers and infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. The primary Linux distribution is Red Hat with instances of Ubuntu, Suse, and Amazon Linux
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and standards.
- Install and maintain system software, including patches, updates, and upgrades.
- Respond to and resolve system issues, including incident reporting, investigation, and remediation.
- Collaborate with other IT team members and stakeholders to ensure the smooth functioning of the overall IT infrastructure.
- Participate in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulations.
