Beach House Waxing is a woman and locally owned, small body waxing business in beautiful Downtown Pleasanton. BHW offers full body waxing that is exclusively for women and specifically known for their bikini waxes. BHW has been in business for just under four years and is looking to grow its team. If you are upbeat, punctual, reliable, love the beauty industry, and looking to grow, this is the right position for you!
OUTCOMES:
- Coordinates guest bookings that are typically back to back
- Operates point of sales system efficiently; scheduling, running reports, sending out email/text marketing campaigns, closing product sales for the waxer
- Ensures that we maintain a 80% or higher prebook rate
- Sell 5 passes per week minimum (this will help with pre book rate)
- Responds to all emails, phone calls, text messages, DMs (IG & FB)
- Keeps a clean and sanitary work area, including all common areas
- Unbox any product boxes in the break room and organize
- Maintains weekly inventory of products
- Confident in answering questions about waxing and post wax products

Punctual - We run on a tight schedule. If you are late for a shift, it could make everyone else run behind. Being punctual shows our guests that we are here for them, always.
Organization and planning - Must be good at organizing in order to maximize the amount of guests we see in a day. Being able to also move clients around on the schedule to best accommodate them as well as filling any unnecessary gaps.
Attention to detail - Making sure that the little things don’t get missed.
Enthusiasm - Being able to come to work with an upbeat attitude and always engaging in conversation with our guests.
Proactivity - Goes above and beyond to get things done without being told to do so. Sees how things could be done better and brings those ideas to the BHW owner.
Communication - Speaks and writes clearly in a professional manner to all guests and coworkers.
Teamwork - Feels comfortable and confident to be able to ask for help when needed and be willing to help others when needed. BHW is starting to grow and is anticipated to have a well bonded team.
Willing to train someone who doesn't have receptionist experience as long as they are a suitable candidate.
LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO COVER THESE SHIFTS:
MON, TUES, THURS, FRI - 10am-2:30pm or 3:30pm-8pm
WED - 10am-3pm
SAT - 8:30am-12:30pm (when needed)
CLOSED SUNDAYS
