What are the responsibilities and job description for the Integrations Business Analyst position at Beacon Hill?
We are seeking an experienced Integrations Business Analyst to support the development and enhancement of systems and business processes. This role involves collaborating with technical teams and project managers to document existing processes, gather and refine functional requirements, and assist in the development of test plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documenting existing systems and/or business processes.
- Interviewing users to determine functional requirements for new development and enhancement projects.
- Collaborating with teams to develop test plans and coordinate testing efforts.
- Working with technical leads and developers to understand, develop, and refine project technical requirements.
- Assisting in the development and refinement of systems development methodology processes and artifacts.
- Tracking and reporting project status in support of Project Management Office efforts.
- Providing input and support for the development of project definition documents to establish scope, cost/resource estimates, and return on investment.
- Performing data analysis and developing database inquiries in support of projects.
- Coordinating the use of business analysis, project requirements, test planning, tracking, and problem reporting throughout projects.
- Conducting Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and coordinating business unit review and approval of project functional requirements and test plans.
- Weekly time reporting using templates or time tracking software.

Preferred Skills, Experience, & Capabilities:
Experience with:
* UML and other tools for capturing and documenting user and functional requirements.
* NIEM / JIEM data modeling.
* Requirements capture and tracking software.
* XML and SOAP protocol software.
* Discussing, analyzing, and documenting high-level business requirements.
* Integration patterns, web services, and APIs.
Ability to:
* Communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with peers, end users, vendor development staff, and all levels of management.
* Work within a diverse IT organization.
* Provide training and demonstrations related to integration software.
Knowledge of:
* Systems development life cycle principles.
*
Education & Minimum Requirements:
* Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
* Master's degree in information systems.
* Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in Information Technology (IT).
