Position: Data Innovation Project Manager
Location: Providence, RI
Duration: 9 Months Plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Detail oriented
- Strong organization skills
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complex/technical topics to diverse stakeholders
- Independent worker, able to drive the project with minimal oversight
- Ability to structure and develop frameworks and communicate them in a structured and easy-to-grasp way
- Eager learner, with strong internet research skills
- Interest in state-of-the-art technological developments and a good understanding of technical feasibility of data-driven products and services
- Project management certification or equivalent experience, with knowledge of waterfall and agile project management methodologies
- Skilled with software such as O365 suite, Jira, SharePoint, and Teams
- Previous experience and skillset to create stunning and communicative PowerPoint slides is preferred
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computers science or related field.
- Experience in healthcare data sector; modernization/innovation
- Experience managing diverse stakeholder groups to come to consensus on topics such as business rules, strategy, and collaboration across programs.
- Experience in strategic planning for IT or data initiatives, including current state analysis, future state development, and gap analysis.
- Experience working on systems integration projects and identifying opportunities for integrations that could streamline operations
- Experience with competitive bidding review and documentation
- Experience with grant management and reporting
- Experience with budget tracking
- Experience identifying sub-tasks necessary to deliver on high level goals in a project plan
- Experience reporting and presenting to executive level leadership teams
- Experience in Public Health IT consulting
- Over 10 years of experience in Project Management
