Barrel Quality Specialist

Role Responsibilities
- Lead shop floor level field work including barrel and barrel warehouse research projects, standard process improvements and other data collection efforts.
- Lead data retrieval and acquisition across Kentucky maturing operations and research projects from systems (SAP, Globe Ranger RFID, others) and field equipment.
- Perform analysis and reporting of data collected.
- Support all barrel warehouse standard process development activity and adherence assessments.
- Support barrel vendor partnerships to ensure barrel quality and performance improvements.
- Support an inclusive culture via Beam Suntory’s Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
- Support and be an advocate of continuous improvement initiatives that improve the safety and quality of our liquid and barrel operations.
- Support and implement all Company Policies and adherence to the Collective Bargaining
- Safety is everyone’s responsibility; identify risks and report violations, near misses, or injuries immediately
- Knowledge of GMP’s, safety standards, quality standards and demonstrated ability to react and communicate effectively to issues
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
Requirements for Consideration
- Minimum of an associate degree; bachelors degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Minimum of three years technical experience
- Previous experience working in a unionized environment preferred
- Predictive Index (PI) Survey
Desired Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing quality control experience
- Quality control certification (ASQ)

Salary : $55,000 - $69,600
