Position: Seasonal Locksmith
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly
Location: New York, NY
StuyTown Property Services is responsible for taking care of the almost 28,000 residents that live in our community on the East River between 14th St. and 23rd St.

We are looking for someone to become a member of our Lock Shop in the role of Seasonal Locksmith. If you are interested supporting the Lockshop Foreperson and their team maintain StuyTown and Peter Cooper Village, then maybe you should work here.

What you will do:
- Perform routine Locksmith work regarding repining cylinders and cutting keys.
- Installation of apartment entry door cylinders, locks and hardware.
- Repair apartment and common area doors.
- Diagnosis and repair (replacement as needed) the hardware related to doors, locks and keyed access locations.
- Repair and replacement of all windows and glass.
- Additional duties may be assigned by your Supervisor.
What you should have:
- 0 - 3 years is of trade experience in similar work required.
- Trade school graduation or equivalent education is a plus.
- Some computer skills necessary to manage work order system.
- Able to multi-task under high pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Weekends or overtime required on occasion

Base Salary: $23.22
