Qualifications
We presently have an employment opportunity for a Sales Manager in one of our operations. In this new role, the Sales Manager directs the sales activities of the dealership by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
- Forecasts goals and objectives to the GSM.
- Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all Sales Associates.
- Directs sales staffing and training in ways that will enhance the development and control of sales programs.
- Establishes daily and monthly objectives for unit sales and gross profits and compliance to finance turnovers.
- Monitors Sales Associates productivity and performance.
- Administers and monitors factory sponsored programs.
- Displays, merchandises, and promotes new and used vehicles.
- Reviews market analyses and sales reports to determine customer needs, and volume potential.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Attends manager’s meetings as requested.
- Conducts daily sales training and executes delivery of daily work plans to sales staff.
Position Requirements:
- Three to five years related experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume.
- Ability to motivate and lead the sales force.
- Valid Florida driver’s license.
