Job Description
Coordinate activities, maintenance, and PM schedules, to ensure production is efficient with little down time.
-Maintenance site machines: packaging machines-Ilapak, Delta, glue and box machines- Mixer, Depositor, slicers, pan washer, oven, etc.
- Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair
- Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition
- Making determinations for equipment, staff and training needs
- General office and manufacturing maintenance
- Perform PM inspections and service machines
- Ensure that all installations are carried out efficiently at agreed times and appropriately risk assessed
- Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently
- Coordinate work projects for the site
- Maintain and update knowledge of mechanical, pneumatics, electrical and electronic control systems and train staff as appropriate
- Maintain logs and records of work
- Use diagrams and appropriate instrumentation to test, diagnose, and rectify mechanical and electrical system faults
- Order and maintain parts and supply inventory for engineering and maintenance
- Perform other duties as directed by the Operations Manager
