GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Senior Project Manager, Physician Compensation is responsible for working directly with the Director, Physician Compensation to model all physician compensation changes associated with the Beaumont Health integration efforts and coordinate implementation with the physician contracting team. In addition, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for reconciling current physician contract data with physician funds flow data, in collaboration with the Beaumont Medical Group (BMG) & Beaumont Health Physician Partners (BHPP) finance teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Participate directly in the Beaumont Health standardization process related to clinical, administrative, teaching, and research compensation (CARTS).
2. Conduct intermediate to complex quantitative analysis and compensation assignments. Model recommended changes with a focus on tracking the organizational financial impact, as well as the impact to individual physicians, subject to changes in multiple CARTS categories.
3. High level of attention to detail, version control of work product(s) and data integrity skills required.
4. Work closely with the physician contracting team to communicate and plan contract changes.
5. Work with finance teams to coordinate changes with the budgeting process.
6. Perform ad-hoc compensation reviews and modeling to address specific business and regulatory needs.
7. Participate in the development of, and systematically maintain, compensation recommendations related to new hires, including new graduates.
8. Complete Fair Market Value assessment of recommended compensation.
9. Work on special projects as assigned.
10. Perform other related duties as required.

B. Work Experience:

* Two years experience in compensation is preferred; experience in Finance or similar role will be considered.
* Previous experience working in healthcare required.
C. Certification, Licensure, Registration:
* Certified Compensation Professional designation preferred.
D. Other Qualifications:
* Advanced proficiency in using MS Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.
* Demonstrated ability to conduct quantitative analysis.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* The ability to perform needs analysis and formulation of alternative recommendations and implementation strategies.
* Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data.
* Ability to work independently, and take on responsibility, in a fast-paced environment where change and transformation is expected.
