We are looking for two (2) FT Dietary Aide with 1 to 2 years experience in long term care facility. (10:30 am - 7:00 pm) and (7:00 am - 3:30 pm) (weekend & Holiday hours are required).

BASIC FUNCTION:
Daily set-up, preparation, presentation, and clean-up of meals for Health Center residents. The primary purpose of your job position is to provide a quality meal program for our residents in the Health Center and Assisted Living Unit and their guests while encouraging independence and a positive sense of well-being.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Report to work in a timely manner, in uniform and ready to work. To smile and practice a "Yes We Can" philosophy. Set up dining rooms before and after meals. Serve residents in the dining rooms and in their patient rooms in an efficient manner. Responsible for setting up trays on the kitchen serving line and delivering meals in a timely manner. Ensure that the proper menu is followed according to the physician’s and/or registered dietitian's diet orders and resident’s request.
General busing of dishes; cleaning tabletops, chair seats, counter tops, and serving area after each meal. Responsible for keeping refrigerator, cabinets in the dining rooms and Health Center pantry and freezer always stocked. Assist residents as needed with eating under supervision of Dietary Supervisor and Registered Dietitian. Return all soiled linens to the Laundry Department and pick up clean items. Responsible for the overall clean-up of the Health Center dining room, kitchen, and pantry area. Maintain the cleanliness of the refrigerator and food carts. Vacuum dining rooms after each meal. Return all dishes and flatware to appropriate storage areas. Handle all food items in a sanitary manner. Assist with the preparation of salads, beverages, and desserts. Work cooperatively with the Kitchen and other staff. Assist in setting up parties for residents in the Health Center.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Ability to read, write and to follow written and oral directions. Must be able to exercise judgment to serve foods in correct portions and in an appetizing manner. Must smile and have a positive outgoing personality. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to do moderate lifting and push food carts. Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents.
