Beck Oil, Inc. is hiring for a Bobtail Driver to join our team in the Victorville/High Desert region!

Beck Oil, Inc. operates commercial cardlock fueling locations along with our Fleet Card office on Turner Road in Victorville, California. We are also a supplier of several brands of lubricants as well as chemicals, solvents, DEF, off-road diesel, several blends of Bio-Diesel, racing fuel, and all grades of gasoline.

Job Description:

Beck Oil, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Bobtail Driver to join our team in the Low Desert, California region. As a Bobtail Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of petroleum and lubricant products to our valued customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load and unload tankers or flatbeds with petroleum and lubricant products in bulk and various package styles.
• Operate tanker or flatbed trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.
• Complete and transmit all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Perform safety inspections on trucks, equipment, and/or facilities as required by Company policy.
• Maintain miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires, and/or tank-related items daily.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the Dispatcher.
• Retain knowledge of and the ability to use loading arms and card readers at rack facilities, use auxiliary pumps for loading and unloading vehicles, and use spill kits and fire extinguishers.

General Responsibilities:

• Perform specific tasks as assigned by Dispatcher or Bulk Plant Manager.
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service.
• Promote and support Company image standards.
• Follow assigned work schedule unless a change is requested and approved by the Driver Manager.
• Stay familiar with Company Policies and Procedures.
• Ensure Driver Manager, Bulk Plant Manager, or Dispatcher is made aware of any operating discrepancies.
• Work in a safe manner at all times and report all incidents immediately.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-year Commercial driving experience, Class B.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Petroleum Tanker experience is not required.
• Clean DMV record with no more than two moving violations within the last five years.
• No more than one at-fault traffic collision within the last five years.
• Current Department of Transportation medical certification.
• Willingness to work any shift available, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
