We are a thriving orthodontic practice looking for a motivated assistant to join our team in providing the highest quality orthodontic care. This person should exhibit professionalism, strong interpersonal skills and amazing people skill, have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.

Role Specific Skills
- We will train you! No knowledge of chairside assisting required.
- General interest in Dental / Orthodontic treatment and care.
Responsibilities
- Prepares chair for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols
- Charting patient information
- Assist in educating the patient and address question and/or concerns (within your scope of practice)
- Scanning
- Assisting with orthodontic procedures
- Placement and removal of appliances
- Inventory control
- Cross-function/departmental training
- Keeping up with a fast-paced schedule
- Putting on and removing appliances and braces
- Taking digital radiographs (x-rays)
- Sterilization of instruments and work stations
- Encouraging, educating, and motivating patients to follow the recommendations of the doctor
- Fixed retainer fabrication and placement
- Inventory control
Education/Certifications
- Minimum of associates degree preferred

Additional Information
Full on the job training is available, through our in house accelerated training program. A motivated self starter will excel in this role!
