The Analyst II, Non-Technical Customer Support for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for reviewing redlines of contract terms and conditions in close partnership with legal, sales and direct customer interaction for timely turnaround time (TAT).
This position is part of the Contract Development department team and will be located in Brea CA. In Contract Development, our vision is the development and management of error proof contract documents where analyst provide insight and business recommendations based on deal analysis. You will be a part of the Contract Development team and report to the Director of Contract Development and responsible for crafting intricate, customized contracts that align with company policies and pricing guidelines to drive profitable sales growth. You will also provide strategic advice to the sales team on overcoming objections and exploring alternative contract options, while working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to streamline processes, manage deal closures, and advocate for contract policy improvements.. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop and negotiate highly complex, customized contracts that integrate diverse high-cost/revenue elements while ensuring compliance with company policies, GPO terms, and pricing guidelines to drive profitable sales growth.
Provide strategic guidance to the sales team on handling objections, exploring alternative contract options, and enhancing value propositions to facilitate deal closures, while managing and working with stakeholders to identify acceptable solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, Service, Marketing, and IT, to address contract matters, improve processes, and advocate for policy revisions, all while participating in complex assignments requiring independent judgment and initiative.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years working experience in a combination of Sales Operations, Customer Service, Contracting, Quoting, or Pricing
5 years interpreting contract terms and conditions to ensure proper administration and compliance, coupled with strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail for accuracy.
2 years experience working in a cross-functional environment as a technical subject matter expert, building support across diverse stakeholders while advocating for sales partners. Proficiency in MS Excel (including pivot tables and vlookups) and MS Word (including track changes and document comparison) is required.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Strong organizational skills, strategic thinker and problem solver, time management skills and ability to self-manage in a complex / time critical environment
Ability to work in fast paced environment and multi-task workload while maintaining all organizational and professional ethical standards
Experience with the Oracle or other ERP system
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

The salary range for this role is $85,000- $90,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
