Nursing Unit Manager Salary: $46 to $48 per hour based on experience.
Nursing Unit Manager Shifts: Full-time 3pm-11pm Alternating Weekends, Holidays.

Our long-term care facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Unit Manager. As a Nursing Unit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for providing compassionate care to the elderly population.
Nursing Unit Manager Responsibilities
· Manage and supervise nursing staff, Including RN’s, LPN’s, and CNA’s, to ensure the delivery of excellent resident care.
· Develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
· Monitor resident health and well-being, and coordinate with healthcare providers to address medical concerns.
· Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
· Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and ensure open communication.
· Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
Nursing Unit Manager Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of PA.
- CPR certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in long-term care or a related setting.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
