Under direct supervision, performs a variety of tasks in the kitchen, tray line, cafeteria, patient care, admin areas. Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the supervisor. Requirements:

• Preference given to those who have had experience with some aspects of the job to include assignments &/or food service equipment.
• On the job training provided.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and established procedures.
• Must have Excellent Customer Service Skills

Responsibilities:

• Transporting and handling of patient carts and trays.
• Regularly does not deliver items to the proper areas causing re-work; Accurate Tray Assembly.
• Frequently can't complete the trayline in the expected time.
• Stocking of food and non-food supplies.
• Doesn't use a list to organize trips to storage areas Dish Room Position(s).
• Special Events Position.
• Refueler Position.
• Cafeteria Register Position.
• Cafeteria Grill/Fryer Position.
• Dept. Safety.
• Food Safety.
• Dept. Support.
• Documentation.
• Cafe/Dept. Support

Competencies and skills - Essential:

• Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal
• Knowledge Of Basic Computer Programs
• Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members
• Able To Withstand Crisis Situations
• Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors

Education - Essential:

• High school graduate or equivalent
