Description:
We are seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to join our healthcare client's Accounting team. This position reports to the Director of Revenue Accounting and is a key component of the Accounting organization. The Accounting Manager collaborates with other functions, departments, and key stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the monthly close calendar and general accounting functions for the revenue accounting team
- Review monthly close entries for completeness, accuracy and GAAP compliance
- Lead and develop staff and senior accountants
- Perform GL account reconciliations and monthly analysis of various balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective internal controls and process documentation to ensure alignment with SOX objectives
- Provide insight into revenue-related financial matters while updating management of potential risks and areas of exposure
- Assist with the financial statement audit process with external auditors
- Produce various analytical reports for company stakeholders
Your Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in accounting roles either in public accounting or a role within a publicly traded company
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA certification preferred
- Experience with healthcare revenue recognition is strongly preferred
- Experience with SAP and the Crowe RCA solution is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in
- Microsoft 365 products
- Accounting software or ERP system
- Resident of the United States
- Eligible to work in the United States
