What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Psychologist position at Behavioral Health Ambassadors?
An innovative and rapidly expanding mental health practice providing a range of assessment, therapy, behavioral consultation and educational trainings to individuals, school districts and other non-profit entities is looking to hire a licensed psychologist. The office is located in South Hadley, Massachusetts, within the beautiful five-college area of the Pioneer Valley. We are currently seeking an independently licensed Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology. Educational psychologists (Ed.D.) or school psychologists (M.A./M.Ed./CAGS) are also welcome to apply. The primary emphasis of employment would be provision of assessment services including diagnostic and psycho-educational evaluations. Experience providing assessment to youth and adults as well as experience working within schools is preferred. We are looking for candidates who understand the special education process in schools and are cognizant of school friendly assessment recommendations. This position requires strong organizational skills as the psychologist may be completing testing across different settings. Proficiency with assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorders (including the ADOS assessment) is preferred. Early career clinicians who meet these qualifications are encouraged to apply. This flexible position can include a part-time, fee-for-service arrangement or full-time status with benefits.
