JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Calculate and prepare laboratory formulations and chemical solutions.
* Perform laboratory screening of new membrane formulations
* Perform screening of new membrane formulations working with manufacturing equipment and personnel during R&D pilot runs.
* Collect, analyze, interpret, and report data and experimental findings.
* Fabricate and/or modify experimental apparatus or manufacturing equipment.
* Assist in the development of new testing methods or procedures.
* Provide general laboratory and administrative support including, but not limited to, inventory maintenance, safety audits, and maintenance and upkeep of the laboratory and warehouse.
* Perform other general support duties as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Associate or higher completed degree/diploma in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Biology or a related field OR
* 2-3 years of laboratory experience in lieu of a degree.
* Able to work at least 30 hours per week, but may work 40 hours per week
* Critical thinking and good problem-solving skills.
* Detail oriented, diligent, careful in observation and work.
* Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* The desire and ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced team environment. Being adaptable and open to change.
* Effective time management skills and able to manage multiple tasks, while maintaining proper attention to detail.
* Strictly adhering to safety policies and guidelines..
