An Electrical Engineer job is available with a client in Round Rock, Texas. In this role you will be responsible for analysis of designs, reversing engineering of existing systems, improvement of existing OEM designs, component engineering, and quick turn prototyping of electrical and mechanical ideas. To be considered for this role you will have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Electrical Engineer Job Duties:
Design, Analysis, and Fabrication of DC Power Supplies, including step up, step down, switch mode, programmable high voltage and high current methodologies
Passive network design (filters, combiners, splitters, and matching)
Firmware/Software programming
Analog/Digital Circuits Design, Schematic Capture, PCB Layout, Prototyping (electrical and mechanical), Thermal Analysis, Impedance Matching, and Component evaluation
Knowledge / Skill / Abilities / Education:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
5 years of experience in an Electrical Engineering role
Knowledge of RF Power Amplifier Design
Experience using test equipment such as Digital Oscilloscopes, Network and Spectrum analyzers along with test equipment used by a person skilled in testing and repairing electrical systems
Experience and knowledge of engineering documentation best practices
Experience with bench/shop tools
