A direct hire Production Supervision job in Hillsdale, MI is available through Belcan with one of our key manufacturing clients. Qualified candidates for this role will have a minimum of 2-3 years of Production Supervision/Team Lead experience in a manufacturing environment. This position will lead production safety, quality, delivery and cost.

- Enforce safety and 5S processes and procedures
- Direct production employees to meet production schedules, quality requirements and budget
- Ensure activities comply with workplace guidelines
- Coordinate activities within or between departments and shifts
- Plan and deploy work schedules and assignments to meet production goals
- Lead with a positive attitude and respect others
- Record employees' attendance and time worked
- Communicate clearly, timely and respectfully
- Train personnel to use all relevant Plex functions
- Make hourly rounds to all work centers to verify activities and intervene as necessary
- Fulfill Leader Standard Work activities and enforce the same for other production support
- Interpret specifications, dimensions, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers

- Communicate clearly and completely
- Listen and follow instructions, control plans and quality alerts to meet production requirements
- Use shop math with practical application to processes
- Demonstrate knowledge of robots, including troubleshooting and teaching positions
- GED or High School Diploma
- Proficient in verbal and written English
- Apply common sense to instructions whether written, oral, or in diagrams
- Deal with problems in a professional manner
- Regular access to reliable transportation; a valid driver"s license
