What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Intern position at Bell and Evnas?
Job Summary
The Operations Intern program is an opportunity for a Sophomore or higher status currently pursuing a degree in Business Management, Food Processing, Animal Science or related field. The Operations intern will be assigned a project along with learning and supporting the day to day plant operations. The project assignment will be People, Safety, Food Safety or Performance focused and will be based upon current business needs. The goal of the intern program is to provide an interactive, challenging and exciting experience for future leadership talent development opportunities at Bell and Evans. The internship will also provide an opportunity to experience day-to-day operations in a processing facility. At the end of the internship program, each intern will present their project results and key learnings to the Operations team and internal business partners.
Internship Responsibilities
- Learn department process and understand KPI goals.
- Assist supervisors in daily department operational functions.
- Assist in development and implementation of a People, Safety, Food Safety or Performance project.
