Service Champions has an immediate need for an enthusiastic, self-motivated HVAC Install Trainee at our Brea location. The successful candidate must be able to work efficiently with great attention to detail, should have exceptional multi-tasking skills and be organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment. This is an hourly, nonexempt, at-will position. Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools to remove and install heating & air conditioning equipment
- Demonstrate Respect, Compassion and Integrity when communicating with clients
- Ability to communicate and educate clients on heating & air conditioning equipment
- Demonstrate the ability to perform installs in a timely manner in accordance with Bell Bros. quality and safety standards
- Ability to demonstrate punctuality
- Participate in weekly meetings for continuing training and development
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Communicate and demonstrate strong customer service skills
- Ability to work with high degree of integrity and promote positive company image
- Ability to focus on quality and results driven in a fast paced environment
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
- Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
- Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions
- Proficiency with mobile devices (e.g. tablets, smart phones and/or other devices as required)

GROOMING
Once hired, all employees must maintain a well-groomed appearance (i.e. a business-like haircut, clean shaven (no facial hair), and no visible tattoos.)
WORK CONDITIONS:
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects 10-75 lbs
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
- Work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof)
- Frequent standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time
- Moderate exposure to physical risk
- Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance
