Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional services needed and provide estimates of time required for repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of Service Technician experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- B-level qualifications, including expertise in diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair.
- Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Outstanding customer service skills and basic computer proficiency.
- Positive, friendly attitude with a strong desire to learn and improve.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
- Willingness to stay updated with new technology, repair procedures, and service specifications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
