MATERIALS HANDLER

JOB SUMMARY: To expedite raw and finished products through the manufacturing process to ensure quality, cost and delivery goals are achieved.*

Primary Duties: *
1. Pack (bundle) products.
2. Band products.
3. Load and unload trucks.
4. Verify quantity and descriptions of incoming / outgoing material and WIP
5. Stage material in warehouse.
6. Prepare boxes for shipping.
7. Cut wood for packaging.
8. Move product through the various stages of the manufacturing process.

Miscellaneous Duties: *
1. Assist in organizing material in warehouse.
2. Any other duties as requested by Team Leader.
3. Shipping / Receiving duties as assigned.
4. Maintain and clean power lift trucks.

Safety Requirements: *
1. Wear personal protective equipment as required.
2. Trained and licensed to operate powered lift trucks.
3. Change propane tanks as needed (wear safety gloves).
4. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Qualifications*:
1. High school diploma or GED
2. Six months minimum experience driving a hilo.
3. Ability to obtain a powered lift truck license required.
4. Ability to handle changing and challenging situations well.
5. Stellar organizational skills.
6. Passion for strict adherence to the highest safety standards.
7. Excellent attendance history.
8. Ability to adjust to changing needs.
9. Ability to follow verbal and written procedures
