Computer Systems Specialist
Job Posting for Computer Systems Specialist at Belmont Public Schools
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology field or equivalent experience
- Experience managing Google Workplace, Windows, and Mac environments
- Certifications such as Microsoft MCP, CompTIA A , and Google IT Support Professional preferred
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills with hardware and software
- Ability to work effectively with educators and administrative staff in a K-12 setting
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills
- Install computer systems throughout the district as needed
- Arrange for and/or perform repairs on Windows, Mac, Chrome, and iOS devices as needed
- Develop, test, and deploy new operating system images and software installation packages utilizing imaging software.
- Oversee computer labs within assigned buildings
- Train teachers on the technical and procedural use of their computer systems and software
- Provide primary tech support for all Principals, Directors, and staff within the assigned building
- Direct responsibility for implementing and managing new client/server applications
- Provide backup support for other computer Systems Specialists
- Contribute to the Technology Department’s procedural documentation library and inventory database
- Maintain appropriate records, databases, passwords, configurations, and vendor contacts as needed to perform the above-listed tasks
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology
- Full-time (40 hours) 12-month position/52 weeks
- Benefits per the terms and conditions of eligibility set forth by the Town of Belmont
