A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CLEANER

As a Housekeeper at Beloit, not only do you perform cleaning duties but you also have the opportunity to interact with a diverse population of college students, faculty, staff, and guests. You respectfully communicate with the people you come into contact with as you simultaneously vacuum, clean carpets, remove trash, wash windows (inside/outside), shovel snow, and move furniture. On some days you may have additional duties such as assisting in unloading deliveries and setting up for events including placement of tables, chairs, staging, podiums, coat racks, etc. You love the task variety in your workday and the opportunity to communicate with other people, and you find great fulfillment in making things look nice each day.

HOUSEKEEPER QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Available for on-call work
• Ability to pass a background check
• Physical ability to clean, lift, bend, walk, climb stairs and ladders, and work outside in all weather conditions

Experience in housekeeping is a plus, but not required. Are you self-motivated, enthusiastic, and people-oriented? Do you like to clean? Do you have excellent customer service skills? Can you perform proper and timely completion of assigned routine and special project cleaning tasks? Do you enjoy working as a cleaner? If you answered yes, then we want you!

CLEANER WORK SCHEDULE

This housekeeping position offers stable, full-time work! We're currently hiring for two shifts which are: Monday - Friday 6 am - 2:30 pm and Wednesday - Sunday 6 am - 2:30 pm.
