Belt Power, LLC is a full-service distributor and fabricator specializing in the fulfillment of conveyor system requirements for the manufacturing industry. We place an emphasis on providing quality, value added components. Our product line ranges from conveyor belts, equipment, components and belting accessories to rubber, hose and gasket products. Belt Power is growing through both organic growth and acquisitions. Shorehill Capital LLC, the private equity majority investor in Belt Power, is active in pursuing acquisitions to add to the Belt Power platform.
The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the Belt Power leadership team with analysis for tactical decision making and strategic direction. This includes ongoing analytical support for daily or monthly business management tools as well as qualitative and quantitative analysis to assist in projects or initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Collaborates with business staff to thoroughly understand the needs to be supported by analytical tools.
- Supports budget, forecasting, and financial activities.
- Assist in due diligence and integrations for acquisitions.
- Creates financial models to support organizational decision making.
- Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
- Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
- Prepares and delivers comprehensive evaluations, proposals, and recommendations to executive leadership, committees, and other stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Business Analytics, Finance or Accounting.
- Ability to analyze business or financial data.
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools.
- Must have strong experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to convey suggested solutions or actions.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
