We are currently looking for a highly motivated and skilled Chauffeur/Driver. The ideal candidate must:
Responsibilities
- Load, transport, pick up, and deliver items, packages, supplies, etc. within the local/state area
- Operate company-owned and leased vehicles
- Provide chauffeur service as required
- Provide transportation for employees needing to run errands as part of their job responsibilities
- Collect visitors from their hotel or the airport to the office and return them
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that the charges are correct, and the orders are complete and satisfied
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain clean driving record and license (Commercial Driver’s License)
- Preserve vehicle maintenance as instructed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum five years of excellent driving experience
- Valid CDL A or B and acceptable DMV driving record
- Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations
- Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to sit for driving periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
- Customer oriented and ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to multitask and work as a team player
- This position requires to work outdoors with climate variances and temperatures. The noise, heat and dust level will vary based upon travel location
This is a full-time position Monday- Friday and must be able to occasionally work on nights and weekends and be flexible with the daily schedule. Start and end point of work will be Coral Gables. Compensation will be based on experience.
