Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and expand industry relationships with labels, managers and agents as part of the BEN Music network of content partners
  • Surface artist initiatives / opportunities sourced from industry contacts for Music and Sales teams to incorporate into brand pitches
  • Proactively craft and package customized artist x brand collaborations and broader ambassadorships
  • Work with broader Music, Strategy and Sales teams to incorporate applicable BEN Music capabilities and offering into brand packaging and proposals
  • Inform and help develop collateral (slides, one-pagers, etc.) generally detailing BEN’s capabilities in the artist partnership space and results from completed activations
  • Collaborate with music team on holistic content offerings (e.g. music videos, clearance offerings, festivals/tours, events and custom artist content) collectively sourced team-wide
  • Maintain working knowledge of the music landscape including artist activity, key content producers, and emerging technologies and platforms

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5 years structuring, negotiating and executing artist & brand partnerships at an agency, label and/or management firm working with A-List talent
  • Proven history of brokering artist/brand activations that received press coverage
  • Strong/verifiable music industry relationships among artist representatives and brand teams at labels, agencies and management firms
  • Ability to secure an average of 3-5 industry meetings per week which lead to new, actionable artist/music content opportunities for BEN clients & prospects
  • Understanding of marketing and branding principles with application toward a client’s business
  • Strong computer skills, especially using Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Google Docs
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage complex and multiple assignments
  • Ability to assist others to resolve problems quickly and productively
  • Is always professional, empathetic and responsible in representing oneself and the broader team with clients, prospects, other employees, and in the business community. Maintains composure and productivity under pressure; integrates values into internal and external dealings
