ROLE OVERVIEW
As the Workplace Coordinator, you will be a key player in ensuring proper operations of our San Francisco office and play a critical role in supporting Benchlings. You are a self-starter, detail oriented, results driven and approach opportunities with a “people first” mindset. You thrive on being both strategic and creative and have the ability to provide quick solutions to ensure we continue to drive productivity and efficiency for Benchlings - both in office and remote. This role reports to the Workplace Operations Manager and is located in San Francisco, CA.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As the Workplace Coordinator, you will be a key player in ensuring proper operations of our San Francisco office and play a critical role in supporting Benchlings. You are a self-starter, detail oriented, results driven and approach opportunities with a “people first” mindset. You thrive on being both strategic and creative and have the ability to provide quick solutions to ensure we continue to drive productivity and efficiency for Benchlings - both in office and remote. This role reports to the Workplace Operations Manager and is located in San Francisco, CA.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Perform daily floor inspections to identify any health and safety hazards, maintenance needs and repair issues.
- Oversee the continual upkeep of the office, including quality control, event set up, minor office reconfigurations, and equipment installations
- Communicate any workplace maintenance and improvements issues, as listed above, and correct/resolve any outstanding items.
- Own and manage the internal service tickets and requests. Respond to general inquiries and escalate to leadership, as needed
- Receive and sort incoming/outgoing mail and packages and notify employees.
- Execute an engaging and informative Day 1 onboarding experience from a workplace perspective.
- Create office use cases to better understand how employees use the space for future builds and/or improvements - ie: what area do people work more in; desks, conference rooms, phone rooms, collaborative areas etc
- Providing support to the greater Workplace Team, helping with day to day projects as well as long term and big picture projects
- Assisting with the execution of team events and off-sites, as well as monthly happy hours and birthday celebrations
ABOUT YOU
Must haves:
- 2 of prior office services, facilities experience, or similar
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, at all levels of the organization
- Knowledgeable in GSuite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
- Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills
Nice to haves:
- Facilities experience is a big plus
- Process driven with an emphasis in documentation
