We are a growing ADA/Architectural Sign company located in the Weatherford area, primarily working in the Commercial/Public Construction Industry.

Currently, we are seeking an Artist Sign Painter.

Job Description

We are seeking a candidate with 3-5 years of experience as an artist sign painter to support our growing company and to perform other duties when not painting. Signage and graphics experience is always welcome but not required. We are willing to cross-train with previous experiences. Preferred experience with One Shot or Enamel Paint Systems.

· Calculate expected job costs using labor and material pricing as well as historical data.

· Work with Project Managers on take-offs

· Responsible for accurate and timely estimating and management of assigned projects

· Ensure projects are bid with accurate pricing, scope, specification, and production rates.

· Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.

· Determine what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product.

Requirements

· Candidate must have basic knowledge of painting all types of wall surfaces

· Ability to understand large-scale artwork and pounce platforms.

· Ability to perform mural, logo, tent, and other wall graphics per design.

· Candidate must be able to lift 80 lbs frequently.

· Candidate must be comfortable working ladders and lifts.

· Candidate must be willing to work in an indoor/outdoor environment year-round.

· Candidate must be reliable, take ownership, show up for work consistently, and be ready to commit to our team.

· Candidate should have a positive attitude and be a good teammate.

· Be able to read a tape measure accurately and use tools efficiently.

· Have a valid driver’s license with no major violations.

· Have a high school diploma or equivalent

· Have held a job for at least two consecutive years with references.

· Be able to pass a drug test now and periodically

· Understand that our client’s project needs come first, always.

· Be professional in your mannerisms, dress, and appearance.

Compensation: Depending on Experience

Travel: May be required to travel when applicable. Must be able to read maps, provide a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $17.00 to $22.00/hour
