Front-End Web Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION
Position/Title: Front-End Web Designer
Department: Marketing Department
Reports To: Director of Digital Marketing
The Front-End Web Designer will assist in creating and maintaining digital assets for BendPak’s family of brands and websites. Responsibilities include design (e.g., digital mock-ups, HTML/CSS layouts, final designs, creations, and modifications), SEO, email marketing, and social media management. This person is also responsible for maintaining web content, images, email templates, product meta-data, and any other digital content in support of our brand presence and marketing initiatives across all BendPak entities.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build new site designs, and ensure they meet the business goals of the brand and project * Create designs that can quickly and efficiently be developed into standards-compliant websites * Evaluate existing brand websites for design and usability improvements * Create and modify assets (copy, graphics, specifications, etc.) on a day-to-day basis * Ensure all product content, meta-data, features, and specifications are current across all sites * Conceptualize and implement designs for digital marketing campaigns across all channels * Assist the Digital Marketing Director throughout the creative process

ABOUT YOU

• 5 years’ experience working in graphic design, preferably with digital marketing teams * A portfolio that shows you’re equally adept at both conceptual and published works with experience working on multiple websites and projects at once * Proven proficiency in HTML, Javascript and SCSS/CSS * Uphold high design and coding standards across all work * Experience designing for both desktop and mobile * Comfortable managing tight deadlines, and are agile and nimble to adapt to the changing environment * Have the ability to manage goal setting, tracking and support with planning and organizational skills * Excellent problem solver, able to identify, analyze and propose solutions * An eye for the nuance and subtlety of web design * A strong command of web usability principles * The ability and discipline to work proactively and independently * A thirst for learning * Dedication to working in a collaborative environment to develop and deliver the best ideas and work

QUALIFICATIONS

• HTML, SCSS/CSS, JavaScript
• UI/UX Design
• Strong understanding of responsive web development
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud

Company sales in North American and international markets are made primarily through international dealers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and their replacement markets in various sectors within the transportation industries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
