Summary:
The Manager, Strategic Marketing is responsible for developing, implementing, and championing global marketing and business strategies to ensure key strategic pillars of Benefit’s Business meet annual and long-term business goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Create annual global marketing plans for owned business categories, including new product launch plans, campaign messaging and strategy, and promotional tactics
  • Propose strategies and develop content for long term plan(s) for owned business categories
  • Develop and present strategic briefs for key initiatives in owned business categories to drive creation of 360 marketing programs and assets
  • Lead research on category dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive analyses for owned business categories and make strategic recommendations based on findings
  • Track and manage long-term KPIs for owned business categories, including sharing with leadership
  • Lead global forecasting, pre-launch expectation setting, and post-launch recap analysis and results sharing with cross-functional teams
  • Develop team member to build strategy, marketing, and communications skill sets
  • Availability during normal work hours
  • Occasional early morning or evening calls to accommodate multiple time zones
  • Occasional travel
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of consumer marketing experience.
  • Beauty marketing experience preferred
  • At least 1 year management experience required
  • Proficient in excel and proven experience using data to make business recommendations
  • Experience developing strong PowerPoint presentations for management
  • Proficient PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills
  • Ability to work with multiple and diverse global markets and across all levels of organization
  • Experience presenting to large groups
  • Strategic marketing background with proven track record of delivering business results
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA desired
