Project Assistant I - On Call Position
Our team is hiring an Project Assistant I with a track record of successful billing experience ideally in a professional services environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Configuring billing setup and processing invoices based on various company contracts
- Coordinating with Project Managers the entire billing process for assigned projects
- Reviewing assigned projects for proper revenue recognition at period end
- Establishing new projects in Deltek Vision based on interpretation of contract details
- Assisting with period end close process, reporting, and analysis
- Preparing schedules and gathering supporting documents during financial, project, and FAR audits
- Reviewing weekly timesheets for compliance with company policies
- Communicating with Project Managers and Clients on a regular basis to ensure billing accuracy
- Assisting the accounting team with accounts receivable and unbilled review and analysis
Qualifications Include:
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting billing experience
- BS in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Experience billing in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction or Professional Services Industry preferred
- Experience with state DOT or railroad companies preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Advanced use of Deltek Vision as it applies to the position
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Salary : $56,200 - $71,200
