What are the responsibilities and job description for the QMHP-A/C/Community Stabilization position at Benevolent Family Services LLC?
- Work with clients to foster new or improved independent living skills
- Case management functions of linking, arranging, and advocating for services and referrals
- Provides support for crisis services for adults and adolescents through face-to-face engagement
- Maintains all client documentation in the electronic record and writes progress notes that are adhering to the requirements set by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health
- Utilize effective listening skills to establish rapport with the client, family members, and other individuals close to the client; provide emotional support and encouragement.
- Maintains records in accordance with regulatory/agency standards. Enters data in a clear, accurate, and timely manner. Also, promptly submits documentation when needed.
Provide assistance to clients with daily living tasks such as behavior management, counseling services to the client, budget management, independent transportation assistance, time management skills and other tasks to promote independent living
Must have at a minimum Bachelors Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, or Human Services.
