JOB SUMMARY:
The Expediter role facilitates the flow of materials between various departments within the plant and outside suppliers. The Expediter is responsible for establishing priorities, schedules, coordinating and monitoring the flow of product and material to meet production needs. Will be required to provide updates to cross-function team, including Purchasing, Operations and Production Supervisors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Daily shortage tracking and communication
- Inventory control review and population
- End of day stock and production reporting for up the chain communication
- Communication between suppliers and internal customers to keep production running
