Lab Lead
Full Time
Seeking a Full Time Lab Lead to be responsible for overseeing all clerical and technical duties, ensuring that case workflow is operating consistently, and testing turn-around times are being managed specimens appropriately. They oversee quality control checks of patient reporting. They have direct line supervision of all laboratory staff, managing employee schedules and training, as well as, resolving any professional conflicts that may arise. The supervisor troubleshoots any problems with workflow and communicates directly with management regarding exceptions, varied timelines. etc. They are also responsible for managing regulatory activities, enforcing consistent adherence to required regulatory guidelines to ensure the highest quality and consistency of services. While maintaining job functions, the supervisor also interacts with other departments to ensure an optimal workflow is consistently achieved and all standard laboratory procedures and policies are followed and updated.
- MT or MLT registered
- Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology plus one year experience
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) Certification or ability to complete.
