Benson Remodeling is a small business in Puyallup, WA.
Benson Remodeling is looking to add to the team to handle the increase in shipping and warehouse task.
We are seeking to build a team of individuals capable of delivering appliances to residential homes. Appliances will be picked up at our warehouse, delivered to homes, unpacked and photographed to show no damage to the product or house. These are vacant homes.
Knowledge of the puget sound area is ideal, ability to safely lift and move refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, and ranges is required.
During non delivery times, work at the warehouse to handle trash cleanup, organizing of smaller product, fill in task to maintain a full time schedule is available.
Advancement opportunities are available. We perform a wide variety of residential remodeling task.
Appliance Delivery Driver
Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated locations
- Load and unload appliances from the vehicle using proper lifting techniques
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and collecting payments
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
