This fulltime position will provide support in two key areas: Accounting and Human Resources
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Human Resources Partner
Accounting (80%)
- Assist in day-to-day accounting/finance operations recording, collecting, analyzing, and verifying numerical data for use in maintaining accurate accounting records of BLCH.
- Generating bills and collect all revenue owed to the hotel in an accurate, timely manner in accordance with accounting policies and procedures. Assist the Director of Finance in all financial activities of the hotel.
- Assist in managing revenues received and dispersed including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, audit, general ledger reporting.
- Cash handling functions for the hotel and reconciliations of all cash dropped for hotel & F&B operations.
Human Resources (20%)
- Support the day-to-day HR needs at the property, including: payroll, onboarding of all new hires and will co-facilitate onboarding training with the Brand Manager.
- Administrative support for Human Resources in accordance with BLCH standards and procedures.
Needed Experience:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to compile facts and figures. Command of the English language both written and verbal. Confidence in working independently and part of a team.
- Technically Savvy - Proficiency with MS Excel and experience with PMS (ie: Opera, stayntouch, Delphi, Sun Finance, Oracle Finance, SAP etc.)
- 1-2 years work experience with accounting and or experience in Hotel or Hospitality related Finance and Accounting. Human Resources exposure a plus.
