We are one of North America’s largest fluid power integrators with 50 locations in the United States and Canada. Job Description
The Field Sales Representative’s role is to develop and support technical solutions for off highway mobile and power motion control solutions. The individual is passionate about working with customers utilizing their expertise applying electrical and fluid power solutions to their customers applications.
Job Duties
- Maintain existing customer base
- Grow customer base by identifying new customers and markets
- Develop hydraulic and electrical solutions for customer systems
- Maintain high competency of our product
- Maintain high competency of how the customers product functions
- 25% overnight travel
- Maintain communication with Berendsen support team
- Project management and time management
- System start up and troubleshooting
- Provide hydraulic and electrical schematics with the aid of Berendsen engineering
- Build strong customer relationships
- Maintain customer reports monthly
- Provide pricing on the systems developed within Berendsen guidelines
- Work from and maintain a home office
Preferred Job Qualifications (any one or more of the following)
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Fluid Power
- Associates Degree in technical discipline with 5 plus years of mechanical or electrical experience
- Former experience in technical field or Industrial Distribution
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Entrepreneurial spirit and results driven
- Self Motivated

- AutoCad LT, CAD Software, Schematic design software
- Microsoft Office
The individual will report to the field sales manager. They will also work closely with the support team within Berendsen and our vendors. They must be a self-starter with a passion to find solutions for their customers.
