Job Description: As a Lube Technician, you will play a crucial role in performing routine maintenance and service tasks on customer vehicles. Your primary responsibility will be to provide efficient and accurate lube, oil, and filter services, as well as other basic maintenance procedures. You will work closely with the service team to ensure that vehicles are properly maintained and meet dealership and manufacturer standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform lube, oil, and filter services on customer vehicles efficiently and accurately.
- Complete vehicle inspections and fluid level checks.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, fluid exchanges, and filter replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Follow dealership and manufacturer guidelines for service and maintenance procedures.
- Communicate with service advisors to update on completed tasks and vehicle conditions.
- Identify and report any additional service or repair needs to the service team.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and staying current with automotive technology advancements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Lube Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Entry-level candidates with a passion for the automotive industry will also be considered.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use diagnostic tools is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- State inspection license or the ability to obtain one
