SUMMARY
Bering Global Solutions, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Evaluator (2T1) for the Base Supply Services contract on Hurlburt Field, FL. The purpose of the Quality Assurance (QA) Evaluator (2T1) is to provide leadership with an assessment of the unit’s ability to perform key logistics processes while ensuring standardized, repeatable, technically compliant process execution, to promote a culture of professional excellence and personal responsibility. Quality Assurance Evaluators (2T1) require extensive Air Force Vehicle Operations background and skills, i.e. quality control and operations compliance that enable them to critique and access performance, formulate and recommend corrective actions, and provide leadership of personnel and/or critique programs in support of contract service delivery summaries and contract objectives. Unless otherwise noted in the statement of work, all paragraphs in applicable references are binding contractual services and required to be performed. General working hours are day shift (0700-1600). Responsible for work center cleanliness. A 90-day probationary period is mandatory.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.
- Measures processes through analysis, surveillances, trends and standards.
- Conducts research, analyzes deficiencies, determine causes, and recommends corrective action for required Vehicle Operations or contractual programs/reports. Manages methods to measure, track, analyze, and report performance trends/deficiencies.
- Evaluate logistics management procedures, including locally developed forms, publications, local operating instructions, and checklists for accuracy, intent and necessity.
- Review new and revised instructions, directives, technical data and TCTO’s for completeness, accuracy, and applicability to supply functional areas.
- Evaluate logistics tasks and conduct inspections utilizing checklists and/or respective Air Force instructions to ensure tasks are completed properly.
- Enter observations, inspections, and evaluation reports into the appropriate QA database.
- Provide limited training and/or instruction as applicable to address deficiencies identified during the evaluation process.
- Conduct personnel evaluations, quality verification inspection, special inspection, safety inspections as the QA 2T1XX subject matter expert.
- Provides expertise and guidance to assigned areas to ensure all USAF guidelines and directives are followed.
- Provides guidance to work centers when procedures are inadequate or wrong.
- Conducts periodic procedural and/or surveillance visits to Vehicle Operations work centers.
- Meets contract performance objectives and associated Service Delivery Summaries.
- Ensures company policies and procedures and safety performance standards are in compliance with all federal, state, local and company safety regulations.
- Responsible for prompt reporting of accidents/incidents, injuries, hazardous situations and violations to the Project Manager.
- Attend periodic Quality Assurance meetings with senior leaders/managers.
- Manages the unit self-inspection program and able to access and manage the unit Inspection Tracking Database.
Periodically assists with conducting property inventories to meet contract obligations.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAO’s)
- Accomplish mandatory training and pass three Evaluator Personnel Evaluations within 90 days of appointment conducted by a qualified evaluator.
- Knowledgeable of all Vehicle Operations program requirements that includes, Official Use of Government Vehicles, operation of various material handling equipment, buses, tractor trailer and general purpose vehicles, Reports and Analysis, understands and able to use OLVIMS, understands and can interpret Vehicle Operations Workload Data Collection and Productivity procedures, Vehicle Control Center (dispatch), Operator Records and Licensing, Equipment Support Section, Vehicle Operations personnel training to include Contingency Operations.
- Hold a Secret security clearance commensurate with property/computer systems accessed.
- Proficient in interpreting data and supply management historical information.
- Works OLVIMS or other software listings to accomplish operations.
- Must possess valid state driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Ability to communicate both orally and writing with internal and external clients and co-workers.
- Assist with conducting physical inventories of warehouse assets, supply points and Readiness Spares Packages.
- Knowledge of Air Force Vehicle Operations practices, procedures and applicable governing guidance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred
- Minimum of 15 years USAF Ground Transportation related experience.
- Completion of basic USAF Vehicle Operators course
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Able to operate material handling equipment.

Ability to maneuver around warehouse sites; sees, hears, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for sitting, walking, standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, throwing, reaching, squatting, stretching, and bending for prolonged periods of time. At times lift and carry as much as 35 pounds. Visual acuity to review written documentation and ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels.
DOT COVERED/SAFETY-SENSITIVE ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Additional working conditions are indoor climatically controlled office workplace, warehouse, and outdoor environments.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
