Position Summary
The Compliance Examiner assists in implementation of changes necessary to achieve and maintain compliance by Berkadia operating business units.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and file initial and change applications, renewals and periodic reports with real estate brokerage and mortgage banking regulators, as well as Secretary of State and local licensing authorities for Berkadia operating business units
- Assists Compliance Officer in handling regulatory audits; utilize available legal resources (including state and government websites) to monitor for changes in license/exemption requirements and conduct legal research as assigned
- Maintains license database information and internal files to assure licensing information for all companies, branches & employees is orderly, current, and readily accessible
