Location: Remote within MA, CT, NY (preferred), VT, RI
Purpose/Objective:
Provides a wide range of administrative support to Sr. EVP, Head of Consumer Lending and Payments. Provides administrative support and works closely with Correspondent Lending and Secondary Marketing.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provides support to the correspondent lending business. Responsible for the approval documentation, renewal documentation, maintaining current contact information, working closely with other department leads to set up training to new correspondent clients, responsible for writing the approval memos and submitting material to the secondary marketing committee.
- Responsible for taking secondary market committee minutes, scheduling meetings and distribution of material to committee members.
- Provides all aspects of confidential support and assistance to the Sr. EVP, Head of Consumer Lending and Payments to assist with daily operational and administrative needs. Maintains calendars, coordinates and schedules appointments, etc., to assist with managing schedule. Support includes, but is not limited to, typing documents, composing correspondence and memos, creating reports, preparation of materials for presentations, taking minutes, and scheduling meetings. Prepares materials for Boards of Directors meetings, QBR's with DMI and prepares material for, and participates in, divisional meetings.
- Works with vendors in gathering material for third party risk review and approval.
- Responsible for paying all bills and tracking expenses by vendor so trend lines can be established.
- Responsible for ensuring that all customer issues and complaints are answered promptly and approved by compliance prior to distribution.
- Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one's duties.
Education:
- Bachelors' Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Experience:
- 3 years of Consumer Lending and Banking experience
- Correspondent Mortgage Banking experience preferred
- 3 years' experience in administrative support (executive level preferred)
- Experience working in busy/demanding office setting with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities
Skills & Knowledge:
- Highly skilled in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Highly detail oriented, organized, and professional
- Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Consumer and mortgage lending knowledge preferred
