We are looking for an experienced Membership Director to join our team in preparation for our Carlsbad, CA opening. THIS IS AN IN PERSON POSITION (limited remote availability). The Membership Director will be responsible for building a strong club membership culture and diverse event creation and management. Full Time Position Overview: The Bermuda Club is seeking a Membership Director who will be responsible for planning and managing a diverse range of events and activities to enhance the member experience. The Program Manager will play a key role in fostering a sense of community, encouraging networking among members, and collecting valuable feedback to improve club offerings.
Responsibilities:
Event Planning: Organize and execute a variety of events and activities, including golf simulator and live course competitions, golf training sessions, fitness classes, wellness classes, and experiential offerings such as tastings, poker tournaments, family events, and speaker series. Determine the frequency of these events, organize and incentivize signups, collect feedback and constantly evolve and improve event offerings.
Member Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to create a strong sense of community and networking among club members. Plan events, food and drink centered member gatherings, competitions, sports viewing activities, and learning and improvement activities to encourage member interaction and build club community.
Feedback Collection: Establish a feedback collection process, encouraging members to share their experiences and preferences. Solicit feedback separately from guests to ensure comprehensive input. Use collected feedback to make improvements to club offerings and events.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Operator to align events and programs with the club's objectives. Work together to generate creative ideas and assist in executing them. The Program Manager will be primarily responsible for onsite participation and event management.
Qualifications: Event planning experience, exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and an engaging, fun personality are critical to success. Candidates with prior experience in program management within health clubs or golf clubs are highly desirable. Event signups will be coordinated within our app, but basic excel and/or planning software skills will be useful. Creativity and strong communication will also be attributes of a successful candidate.
